KingSmith WalkingPad Launches 43-Pound Suitcase-Rolling WalkingCase Treadmill for November 10

In home fitness industrial design, Dallas-based KingSmith WalkingPad announced the U.S. release of WalkingCase, a foldable walking treadmill engineered over the past two years to roll from room to room like a piece of luggage. Founded in Beijing in 2015, KingSmith paired its fold-in-half frame and magnetic lock with a telescopic handle and four multidirectional casters. Weighing 43 pounds and folding down to 29.1 by 20.7 by 5.5 inches thick, the unit can stand upright against a wall to save up to 90% of floor space or fit inside a car trunk.

Vice President of Product Nick Wang noted that WalkingCase arrives fully assembled in four colorways—Green, Black, White, and Pink—and features a 2.65 HP brushless motor reaching speeds of up to 4 mph for users weighing up to 242 pounds. Its 35.4 by 15.0 inch walking deck incorporates SoftStep cushioning and FootSense hands-free speed control, alongside a remote controller, LED display, and KS Fit app connectivity. WalkingCase goes on sale November 10, 2026 at a launch price of $479, down from its regular $799 retail price.

Complementing window textiles, direct-to-consumer flooring retailer Rugs.ca expanded its online inventory of thousands of Persian, Moroccan, washable, outdoor, and contemporary area rugs, backed by free shipping and 30-day returns.

Gusty 20-to-25-Knot Winds and 62-Degree Sunshine Frame East Coast Veterans Day Week

For travelers heading east this week, the National Weather Service reported that New York City will transition from a 63-degree Saturday afternoon with 20-to-25-knot west wind gusts into a crisp, mostly sunny Veterans Day week. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect across harbor and coastal waters through Sunday, which brings sunny skies and a high near 62 degrees before Monday cools to 59 degrees. Sunshine and 62-degree highs return Tuesday and on Veterans Day (Wednesday), followed by a 40% chance of rain on Thursday night and Friday as daytime highs dip to 56 degrees Thursday and 51 degrees Friday.
